A message from Glen Skarson...

     One of the exciting aspects of the G.R.O.W. Monday night program, is not only (1) evangelistic outreach and (2) contacting folks who have dropped off the radar screen of our fellowship, but also (3) visiting, contacting and ministering to those who are hospitalized, house-bound or otherwise in need of prayer, encouragement, or supplying of their physical needs. Jesus in Matthew 25:34-40 (NKJV) made it very clear that we have a great responsibility to those within our sphere of influence:

     The Care Ministry of our Monday night G.R.O.W. program is one of the avenues that we who take discipleship seriously can exercise our faith and obedience to the admonition of our Lord Jesus, to care for those around us. “……. Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it unto Me.”

     Two hours a month is a small price to pay for the “out of this world” benefits we reap when we are obedient to God’s Word. Hope to see you Monday night.
