Special Joint Worship Celebration...

... with the Orchestra and Choir and the 8:30 Band This Coming Sunday. We will meet in the Glen Burnie High School Auditorium for a wonderful time of praise and worship that you will not want to miss! Childcare will be provided for children 4 years of age and younger.

MEREA Kick-Off Event

Thursday, September 23^rd 6:30 PM. In the Worship Center Sisters in Faith of all ages, 15-100 years, are invited to start our new season of small groups, including a new group targeted for sisters ages 15-20. For more info contact Jane Young.

Upward Basketball

Register your child now for the 2010 Upward Basketball Season

$65/child by Oct. 4th -- $80/child after Oct. 4th. Optional shorts are $15. Open to all boys and girls in grades 1st thru 6_th grade. This is a great opportunity for your child to learn to play basketball in a Christ-centered environment. Look for registration forms in the Church Foyer soon.

Dr. Barnes has come to Faith BC as our new Senior Pastor after having served as the Executive Director of the Nevada Baptist Convention since 2002. He has served as Senior Pastor of Green Valley Baptist Church in the Las Vegas area from 1997-2002, as Senior Pastor of Ken Caryl Baptist Church in Littleton Colorado from 1988-1998, and as Senior Pastor for West Ajo Baptist Church in Tucson Arizona from 1982-1988.

Thane and his wife Susan have been married 29 years, have two married daughters; Melissa (husband Brandon) and Jenna (husband Brandon). The Barnes have three grand children; Maddox, Elise, and Jackson.
